This project let our small team of 2 go through the entire process of making a legged robot in the Robotics Studio course (Spring 2024): from initial sketches, CAD modeling and manufacturing to building a PyBullet simulation and programming. We used Solidworks for the design stage and programmed in Python. Perhaps the most fun part was to see FROBOT move for the first time and to paint all the parts in the parking lot!
FROBOT knows how to dance and to walk, has a continuous boot routine to check the condition of its servos, and communicates through the Terminal window and its own LED lights.
